So, if we can control breath through yogic techniques, mind can also be controlled. The mental disturbance will be carried away and the mind reflects a calmness.

Breathing is a process that happens continuously and naturally in a man. There is a rapid increase in the number of diseases in the life of modern man due to his life style. Even there are many changes in the pattern and rhythm of breathing,

Shortness of breath –

It’s hard or uncomfortable for you to take in the oxygen your body needs-

When should you worry about shortness of breath? There are numbers of reasons when you feel tension, stress, Anxiety, its common to get shortness of breath.

Asthma

Asthma is a disease of the Airways of the lungs which is characterized by increased sensitivity of airways to a variety of triggers. Exchange generally and episodic disease, i.e., acute attacks followed by symptom free periods. Though most attacks are generally short lived, sometimes serious conditions occur in which severe asthma is unrelieved for many hours or even days like in status asthmaticus.

Asthma is an inability to breath properly. When any person inhales, the years travels through the following structures: –

  1. Air passes into the lungs and flows progressively through smaller Airways called bronchioles. The lungs contain millions of these Airways.
  2. All bronchioles lead to alveoli, which are microscopic sacs where Oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged.

Asthma is a chronic condition in which these Airways undergo changes when stimulated by allergens or other environmental triggers. These actions in the airway cause patients to cough, wheeze, and experience shortness of breath (dyspnoea), the classic symptoms of asthma.

Effective breathing

  • Life is between two breaths- First breath and last breath
  • Breathing techniques can be corrected by basic yogic techniques –(Asana)

To energize the body through synchronisation of breath and Co-ordination of body movement and advanced yogic (pranayama) techniques, that are designed for the maximum capacity utilization of the lungs: proper pranic flow in the body that can contribute to a healthy body and sound mind.
